A guest bed maximises the use of floor space whilst retaining additional and occasional sleeping capacity.

A guest bed is typically a normal-sized 3ft single bed. The difference is that an additional bed is stored underneath. The additional, or guest, bed slides out from under the normal bed when needed. The guest bed normally features foldable legs that can be raised when needed. This ensures that the guest bed can be pushed against the standard bed, if needed, to create and effective double bed sleeping area.
